I design websites for individuals like authors and small business entrepreneurs and small organisations.

The websites are designed using Web 2.0 tools (including a day's mentoring on maintaining and maximising the potential of their websites. Afterwards, a period of hand-holding via phone or email is agreed while the client gets to grips with the process.

Using Web 2.0 tools means:

  1. Clients need not worry that their websites are not keeping up with constantly changing standards and accessibility rules. These are handled by the Web 2.0 provider
  2. Web 2.0 tools allow clients to focus on content and not on technical aspects of their website
  3. Clients can update their own websites without the help of a web designer

Because of of writing and other commitments, I take on only a very limited number of clients. Contact me for a quote or a preliminary chat.

Even though Web 2.0 allows you to build your own website without a designer, all sites can benefit from professional graphical touches such as a branded masthead/header and other attractive visual elements.

Contact me to if you wish me to create striking graphic elements for your website. Rates vary.
