Hi Candy! I am interested in reading your books....Your classmate Ann Buenaseda told me about you and i told her to get me a signed copy when you launch in MNL.....would love to meet you sometime when i go to London....sayang, had i known about you and your books, i would have bought a copy in London i was just there last week...hopefully Ann gets me my signed copy...otherwise, i will just seek you out in London on one of my trips there.....so proud of a Pinay breaking in the British readership....Good luck and more power to you!!!

Just thought I'd let you know that I really enjoyed your talk at channing the other day. I bought the book later in my local bookstore (the person working there said she had read tall story already and loved it!) my 7 year old brother is currently reading it and I am third in line to get my hands on it after my 12 year old brother gets through it!! Thanks for coming in and good luck with the rest of your writing career!

Congrats! I love reading and I'm always on the lookout for unique, interesting stories. If your book has some sort of Filipino culture in it, I will be glad. It's one more step to helping us establish our own identity.
And, yes, as a product of the same sort of success with my late husband, I do believe that ANYTHING is POSSIBLE!

Candy! Congratuations! With your talent and dedication, it was only a matter of time. I wish I had read "Tall Story" as part of the critique group, but I sort of -uhh- chilled out during that period. I'm doing more in the new 11+ fantasy group. We'd be thrilled if you have a chance to participate.

I remember this video - how funny that your publisher/agent was wearing a bow tie when you filmed this. That was a co-incidence surely!
